Professional Lawn Care Program

Creating and maintaining a beautiful, healthy lawn takes more than just regular watering and mowing. It takes a program that addresses every aspect of your lawn's health and growth needs. A beautiful yard is an asset to any home, no matter what the season. Let our professionals take the headache out of your lawn maintenance.

ROUND 1 - Fertilization plus Crabgrass control

Applied in April or early May as soon as spring weather permits. This is an early season formulation of high-quality granular fertilizer plus a pre-emergent weed control that stops crabgrass before it can even get started. This application does not control dandelions or broadleaf weeds.

ROUND 2 – Dandelion and broadleaf weed control

Applied in May – June. This application is done as a liquid treatment. It provides control of dandelions as well as many other weeds.

ROUND 3 – Mid Summer fertilization and broadleaf spot spray

Applied in June – early July. This application consists of a high quality granular slow release fertilizer. This allows the lawn to feed on the fertilizer slowly to maintain a nice green vigor without causing stress to the lawn. Broadleaf weed spot spraying will also performed at this time to control any unsightly weeds missed from the previous application.

ROUND 4 – Late Summer broadleaf control

Applied in August – September. This application is done as a liquid treatment. It provides control of unsightly broadleaf weeds that may have emerged. Nitrogen may be added to help the lawn recover from summer stress.

ROUND 5 – Lawn aeration (optional service)

Provided in mid September – early October. Core aeration creates thousands of new growth zones throughout your lawn by removing 1" to 3" cores of soil. These cores eventually dissolve, helping to speed up the natural process of thatch breakdown. The holes left by aeration make more room for air, fertilizer and water to reach your lawn's roots. After aeration, your lawn will naturally expand toward the open pockets in the soil, resulting in healthier grass with thicker, deeper roots. After a core aeration it is a good time to over-seed your lawn or seed any bare spots.

ROUND 6 – Fall fertilization

Applied from late September through freeze up. This application will be the final application for the season. Fall fertilization prepares your lawn for winter survival by promoting disease resistance, food storage and strong root growth. Fall fertilization also helps get your lawn off to a quicker greenup in the spring.
